Egyptian airline AlMasria has reduced flights to Russia

The Egyptian airline AlMasria Universal Airlines has reduced its flight program in Russia. This is reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

The decision was explained by periodic flight delays.

"Following consultations with the agency, taking into account periodic schedule disruptions, the Egyptian carrier decided to reduce the number of its flights to/from Russia in coordination with tour operators," the agency noted.

Previously "Izvestia&with reference to AlMasria, it was reported that the airline revised the flight schedule on the eve of the tourist season for three Russian tour operators: Coral Travel, Fun and Sun, Anex Tour. The cancelled flights are planned to be redistributed between Russian and foreign carriers. The reason for the timetable revision was unfriendly actions on the part of the EU, which restricts the ability of airlines to purchase aircraft.
