The Ministry of Finance has no plans to ban the work of messengers in Russia. This was announced by the head of the department Maksut Shadaev during the conference "Telecom of the Future — 2025".

— We have no such plans. Our task is to find a balance between the comfort of using messengers and the opportunities for fraud on the part of scammers," TASS quoted the minister as saying.

Shadaev stressed that with the help of a set of regulatory measures, it is possible to ensure the safe use of messengers, "without prohibiting them as a whole, as a class."
