The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the protection of protected objects from UAV attacks. Thus, the document allows employees of departmental security to use special equipment or firearms when repelling UAV attacks not only at the facilities they protect, but also outside such facilities.

In addition, facilities designed to "prevent unmanned aircraft from being in the airspace" can now be located in the fourth subzone of the airfield area.

Relevant amendments are being made to the laws "On Departmental security", "On Transport security", "On private detective and security activities in the Russian Federation" and the Air Code.
