In 2025, a record housing start is expected in Russia - more than 100 million square meters (32 million square meters have already been commissioned in the first quarter). This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister during the forum "Small Motherland - the strength of Russia". Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.

However, according to him, there is a risk of a decrease in construction volumes by 30 million square meters by 2027-2028. m due to the lack of new projects.

The current situation is shaped by the projects of 2022-2023.

Thus, in order to maintain the industry, according to Khusnullin, it is necessary to develop mortgage lending, optimize the provision of land, launch new construction projects, and maintain investment attractiveness.

Of particular relevance is the situation with unsold housing in new buildings in Moscow (8,000 apartments) and the Moscow region (7,9 thousand), which is associated with restrictions on family mortgages.
