Persons who support the actions of international organizations and foreign authorities directed against Russia will now be recognized as foreign agents. The relevant law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document has been published on the official legal information portal.
Thus, citizens who assist in the implementation of decisions of international organizations in which Russia does not participate, as well as those who support decisions of foreign authorities if these decisions are directed against the security of the Russian Federation, will receive the status of a foreign agent.
In addition, persons who involve citizens, including minors, in collecting information about the military-technical activities of the Russian Federation will be recognized as foreign agents.
The document comes into force 10 days after its official publication.
