In the first quarter of 2025, 3.87 million cash loans worth 582.44 billion rubles were issued. This is 13% less in quantity and 18% less in volume compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, and 52% and 61%, respectively, compared to the first quarter of 2024, according to OKB. 

In March 2025, 1.28 million loans worth 219.17 billion rubles were issued, which is 1% more than in February (1.27 million loans worth 191.34 billion rubles). The volume increased by 15%, the average loan size increased by 14% (to 171 thousand rubles), but the average loan term remained 23 months.  

Annual decline: in March 2024, 3.07 million loans worth 606.34 billion rubles were issued. The total cost of the loan increased to 35.64% in March (34.33% at the beginning of April).  

Top 5 regions in terms of lending volumes in March 2025:/p>

    Moscow: 87.83 thousand loans for 23.25 billion rubles. Moscow region: 73.88 thousand loans for 16.47 billion rubles. Saint Petersburg: 37.89 thousand loans for 9.72 billion rubles. Krasnodar Territory: 51.49 thousand loans for 9.45 billion rubles. Sverdlovsk region: 46.34 thousand loans for 7.39 billion rubles.
The largest loans (an average of 371 thousand 368 thousand rubles) were issued in Sevastopol, Crimea, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia. Longest loan term (37 months) in Chechnya and North Ossetia, the shortest (16 months) — in the Chukotka Autonomous District.
