Russia continued its military operations at the end of the Easter truce

The armed forces of the Russian Federation have returned to conducting a special military operation with the end of the truce announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in honor of the Easter holiday.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian troops strictly observed the ceasefire, while 4,9 thousand violations were recorded by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. During the truce, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 19 times at the border areas of the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions; they sent 90 UAVs to Russian infrastructure facilities, including those outside the area of the special operation.

The suspension of all hostilities was announced by Vladimir Putin from 6 p.m. on April 19 to midnight on April 21.
