The list of professions for simplified obtaining of a residence permit in the Russian Federation was reduced from 203 to 29

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has approved a list of professions that give foreign citizens the right to obtain a residence permit in Russia in a simplified manner. This list has been greatly reduced. This is evidenced by the published order of the Ministry.

Previously, the total number of such professions was 203, now the list consists of only 29 positions. It retains engineering and working specialties, as well as specialties in the field of IT.
