A set of products for making cakes has fallen in price by 9.4% over the year. This is reported by TASS with reference to the calculations of the Association of Retail Trade Companies (ACORT).
So, in April 2025, the cost of ingredients for making a 300-gram Easter cake is 48 rubles, whereas a year earlier the same set of products cost 53 rubles. When calculating the cost, the following recipe was taken into account: wheat flour (350 g), milk (125 ml), sugar (90 g), chicken eggs (2 pieces), vegetable oil (70 g), yeast (15 g), salt (1.5 g).
The main factor in reducing the cost of making a cake was the reduction in prices for eggs, flour and sugar. Eggs fell in price by 29.6%, to 76.2 rubles per dozen, flour - by 13%, to 29 rubles per kg, sugar - by 9%, to 62.5 rubles per kg.>
The average cost of ready-made cakes in stores is 47.5 rubles (weighing 100 grams), 185 rubles (weighing 300 grams), 565 rubles (weighing more than 600 grams).
