The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under the article "Terrorist act" on the fact of a massive attack by the VFU on residential buildings in Kursk. This is reported by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.

Apartment buildings in Kursk were attacked by drones on the night of April 15. As a result, an 85-year-old woman was killed and nine other people were injured. A total of 24 high-rise buildings were damaged. A drone strike also hit an ambulance station, where 11 ambulances were damaged.

"During an inspection of the accident sites, military investigators found fragments of aircraft, as well as striking elements that were filled with explosive devices to cause maximum damage to civilians and infrastructure facilities," the representative of the Investigative Committee said.
