Security expert Brandon Weichert has listed Russian electronic warfare systems that work most effectively against Starlink to The National Interest magazine.

American satellite communication terminals are actively used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The head of the US Department of Public Administration Efficiency, Elon Musk, called Starlink the backbone of the Ukrainian army and warned of the danger of this dependence in the event of a possible shutdown of the system.

Brandon Weichert named the names of Russian electronic warfare systems that suppress the Starlink signal. According to the expert, "Tobol" allows you to jam the signal in both directions - from satellites to ground receivers and from Earth to satellites.

"The real killer of Starlink," according to Weichert, is the Russian Kalinka. The system detects and interrupts both incoming and outgoing signals from satellites.

Failures in the operation of satellite communication systems disrupt the military communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the operation of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
