Russian Post will be able to sell medicines and operate as a marketplace delivery system.

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has developed a draft law providing for a number of measures to support the Russian Post. With them, the company will have new opportunities for the development, modernization of infrastructure and accessibility of postal services for citizens.

For example, Russian Post will be able to accept electronic payments without incurring additional fees from credit institutions.

gt; Will receive the status of an authorized organization for the delivery of bills, newspapers, correspondence and promotional materials to apartment buildings. At the same time, at the request of the owners, other operators will be able to deliver mail.

Notifications about mailings and payments will be sent to the personal account of the Russian Post or to Public Services.

Russian Post will be able to sell over-the-counter medicines that do not require special storage conditions. Citizens in remote parts of the country will be able to receive the necessary assistance.

Post offices will also be used as pick-up points for orders from marketplaces.

In addition, the Russian Post is planning to improve the opening hours of its branches to better serve citizens.
