Residents of Kursk who have lost their homes will be paid 65 thousand rubles each until the territories are completely liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Citizens who have lost their living quarters and other property as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces in the territory of the Kursk region will receive a monthly cash payment. The corresponding instruction was given by Russian President Vladimir Putin following a meeting with members of the government on February 18, 2025.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to ensure an appropriate payment from the federal budget. Its amount will be 65 thousand rubles. Residents of the Kursk region will receive money monthly "until the complete liberation of the specified territory."
