Starting from September 1, 2025, Russia may ban foreign agents from participating in educational and educational activities. The relevant amendment was supported by the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption at a meeting on Wednesday.
The amendment was introduced by the second reading of the bill. The document prohibits foreign agents from engaging in educational activities not only for children, but also for adults. The bill was adopted in March in the first reading.
The committee also proposed an amendment for the second reading, which prohibits foreign agents from joining the governing bodies of state corporations.
It is assumed that the State Duma will consider the bill in the second reading at the plenary session on April 8.
