Moscow is interested in unblocking the supply of spare parts purchased by Russia for the needs of the aviation industry. This was stated to Izvestia by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The minister explained that we are talking about aircraft spare parts worth $500 million, which have already been paid, but are "stuck" in the United States.

"As consumer representatives, we would be interested in unblocking the supply of these spare parts, among other things. That would be important," Alikhanov said.

The head of the department also added that Russia sees a reason to recognize the repair work carried out by Russian companies with Airbus and Boeing aircraft under sanctions without appropriate verification of licenses from foreign manufacturers.
