The Ministry of Finance plans to amend the law on non-discriminatory access of providers in the MCD

The Ministry of Finance of Russia plans to amend the law on non-discriminatory access of providers to apartment buildings. According to the head of the ministry, Maksut Shadayev, in particular, the issue of introducing liability for management companies that interfere with the implementation of the law is being considered.

"According to the minister, the main task now is to adjust the current legislation. It is planned to analyze situations where existing regulations do not work properly and make appropriate adjustments. Special attention will be paid to the problems faced by operators when trying to gain access to apartment buildings.

Shadaev stressed that contractors often do not create the necessary conditions to comply with the law. In this regard, the Ministry intends to study in detail the typical problems and consider the possibility of introducing liability for those who create additional barriers and impede the implementation of legislation.
