The Russian government has supported tougher penalties for crimes related to cyberbullying, including the use of artificial intelligence and deepfakes.

For example, to combat such crimes, mandatory call labeling, two-factor identification for government services and banks, the ability to install a self-lock on SIM cards, and a spam ban feature have been introduced.-phone calls and SMS newsletters, expanding the use of biometrics.A single platform is also being created to block suspicious numbers, websites, and accounts, ensuring interaction between government agencies, banks, and law enforcement agencies.

Citizens are advised not to accept calls and messages from government agencies via foreign messengers.
