The discount rate varies between 150-500 thousand rubles (2.5%), and for some models it reaches 1 million rubles. The trend is observed for almost all Chinese brands, including the sales leaders Chery, Haval, Exeed, Geely, Belgee, Jaecoo and Omoda.

Market experts attribute the price reduction to "desperation" in conditions of overcrowded warehouses, as maintaining a warehouse costs "a lot of money" against the background of a high key rate. The expected profit from the car disappears in just two months of storage. There is also no seasonal demand for new cars. In this regard, car dealerships are forced to resort to discounts in order to sell at least "zero" or incur minimal losses.

In addition to discounts on Chinese cars, discounts also began to be imposed on a number of Lada models. According to experts, the share of cars from the year before last in wastewater is about 5%.

Market participants believe that the discount period may last until the middle of summer, until stocks are exhausted. However, new batches of cars brought to Russia after the stock sale will cost more, there are no prerequisites for prices to go down in the price lists.
