By the end of 2024, the number of preferential mortgage loans decreased by 32%, and the total volume decreased by 31%. Such data is provided by the United Credit Bureau.
In February 2025, Russians were issued 29.6 thousand mortgage loans with state support for 156.24 billion rubles. A year earlier, these figures were at the level of 43.78 thousand and 225.82 billion rubles, respectively.
In February, the share of preferential mortgages was 71% in the total number of home purchase loans and 88% in the total volume.
Last month, the average size of a preferential mortgage loan increased by 2% year-on-year, to 5.28 million rubles. The average loan term was 292 months (+9 months since February 2024).
