The Ministry of Labor told what awaits the Russian labor market in four years

By 2029, the labor market expects a large-scale restructuring, the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has analyzed. The job cuts will affect trade (-233,000), public administration (-66,000), energy, agriculture, real estate, culture, sports, finance and insurance.

Employment growth is forecast in personal services (+348,000), manufacturing (+203,000), transportation (+194,000), hospitality (+168,000), science and communications (+160,000).

The following will be in demand: skilled industrial workers (+398 thousand), accounting employees (+236 thousand), software developers (+99.8 thousand), doctors (+68.2 thousand), mechanics (+64.8 thousand), construction workers (+62 thousand).

By 2030, the additional staffing requirement will amount to 3.1 million people, which is 700,000 more than the previous forecast.
