The Government has approved the Regulations on the unified maritime operator of the northern delivery, which will enter into force on January 1, 2026.
The Ministry of the Far East Development, as the coordinator of the system, will manage supplies to the regions of the Far North. A single operator is responsible for the coordination of participants, the development of routes and the transportation of goods between ports. An information system is being created for monitoring and planning supplies.
In 2025, it is planned to deliver 3.5 million tons of cargo, including food, medicines and fuel. The system will ensure uninterrupted supply to the regions in difficult climatic conditions.
