Russian border checkpoints will receive 859 million rubles for repairs and re-equipment

The Russian government will allocate about 1 billion rubles for the repair and re-equipment of checkpoints across the state border.

Work at the points will start in 2025 and be completed in two years. It is planned to install modern inspection and inspection complexes at a number of checkpoints. This will reduce the time required for control procedures.

The State Border checkpoint modernization program is valid until 2030. It provides for the renewal of 87 of the most sought-after items. After the program is completed, the throughput should more than double.
