In 2024, the trade turnover between Russia and Tajikistan reached 1.5 billion dollars. This figure has grown by more than 7% over the year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.
He noted that the volume of capital investments is growing at about the same pace, which amounted to $1.6 billion at the end of last year. Relations between the two countries continue to develop, and 80 Russian regions maintain relations with their partners from Tajikistan.
