The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is preparing proposals for large-scale privatization

The Ministry of Finance has begun preparing a proposal for a "large-scale privatization." Its preparation was announced by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov during an expanded meeting of the Board of the Federal Property Management Agency.

The current moment, in his opinion, is "appropriate" in order to put this topic on the agenda.

"New development strategies for state—owned companies will have to be approved in order to increase their involvement in achieving national goals," Siluanov said.
