Superjet with Russian PD-8 engines made a test flight

A prototype Superjet aircraft with import-substituted PD-8 engines has been tested in Russia. This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the government Denis Manturov.

According to him, the aircraft has entered flight tests. The first flight with Russian engines was successful.

Rostec State Corporation added that the test flight was conducted in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The Superjet stayed in the air for about 40 minutes, reaching speeds of 500 km/h and gaining altitude up to 3,000 m.
