lt;p>gt;In Russia, it is planned to resume production of TVD-10 aircraft engines, which will be used in an upgraded version of the An-2 aircraft, popularly called the corncob". This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov in a comment on the TV channel "Russia 24".

gt;- We have a project ready to resume production of TVD-10 engines. We plan to use them for the remotorization of the An-2 and in the future for the modernization of these aircraft," he said.

Earlier it was reported that the An-2 prototype with a TVD-10B engine will be prepared by the Siberian Aviation Research Institute by the summer of 2025. It is assumed that the modified engine will have a higher take-off propeller power of 960 horsepower.
