Pantsir missile defense system will be equipped with a laser system

The Russian Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and cannon system will be upgraded in the near future. This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov during the international arms exhibition IDEX-2025, held in Abu Dhabi.

Manturov stressed that Pantsir is constantly being upgraded, and now it will be equipped with a laser system. Before that, the ZRPC received mini-missiles to combat drones. According to him, in addition to active use in the Russian Armed Forces, a portfolio of orders for these complexes from other countries has been formed.
