The UK has opened a criminal case against the heads of three companies that acted as subcontractors in the execution of the state defense order. This is reported by the telegram channel of the main military investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Three businessmen are suspected of abuse of power and embezzlement of 300 million rubles. We are talking about the heads of the companies "Complitstroy Group" and "Athenon", who in 2023-2024 were involved in the implementation of government contracts for construction work in the Kaliningrad region. The total value of the contracts concluded with the Ministry of Defense exceeded 900 million rubles.

According to military investigators, businessmen "contrary to the legitimate interests of organizations&"we spent more than 300 million rubles allocated from the budget for purposes "unrelated to the execution of contracts", which caused major financial damage to the state.
