The FAS revealed a cartel among the bidders for the supply of educational and computer equipment implemented within the framework of the national project "Education". This was reported by the press service of the department.
According to the FAS, suppliers have entered into an anti-competitive agreement to maintain high prices in trade procedures conducted in six regions of Russia: Bryansk, Novgorod, and Arkhangelsk regions, Buryatia, Tatarstan, and Chuvashia. Sigma, Imperium, A1 and one sole proprietor were named as involved in the violation of antimonopoly legislation.
Government contracts totaling more than 276.7 million rubles were signed with these companies. Now the cartel members face administrative punishment.
