In January, sales of new cars in Russia increased by 9%

In January 2025, 90,500 new cars were sold in Russia, which is 9% more than in January 2024. This is reported by the Committee of Automakers of the AEB. In total, including various supply channels, about 90.8 thousand new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in January.

At the same time, it is noted that January remains a difficult month for sales due to the long holidays. There is also a stock of cars in dealer warehouses that can meet customer demand.
