Russia expects a decrease in passenger traffic of Russian airlines by the end of the year

The Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency expect that the passenger traffic of Russian airlines in 2025 will amount to about 109.7 million people, said Dmitry Yadrov, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, at the NAIS-2025 plenary session.

He noted that for the current year, the Federal Air Transport Agency, together with the Ministry of Transport, has set a target of 109.7 million passengers.

For comparison: in 2024, Russian airlines transported 111.7 million people.
