In Russia, the production of wine and cognac increased by 13.4%

In 2024, the production of wine and cognac in Russia increased by 13.4%, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. Last year, local winemakers produced about 61 million decaliters of this product, which is 13.4% more than in the previous year.

The production of still wines increased by 8.6% and reached 32.6 million decaliters, the production of sparkling wines increased by 24.7%, amounting to 17.6 million decaliters, and fortified wines showed an increase of 29.6%, reaching 1.1 million decaliters. Cognac production also increased by 10.2%, reaching 9.7 million decaliters.
