In 2024, Russians purchased 12.3 thousand used electric vehicles, which is 18% more than in the previous year. This is a record number of purchases, according to the analytical agency Autostat.

The Japanese brand Nissan is the leader in the secondary market of electric vehicles, which has sold 4,9 thousand cars, which is approximately 40% of all sales. Every sixth used electric car in 2024 was a Tesla brand, a total of 2.1 thousand such cars were purchased. The third place was taken by the Chinese manufacturer Zeekr with 1,400 electric vehicles sold.

The most popular electric car remains the Nissan Leaf, with 4.8 thousand units sold in 2024. The top three also included the Tesla Model 3 and Zeekr 001, with about 1,000 purchases of each model.
