In January 2025, federal budget expenditures reached 3.3 trillion rubles, which is 32% higher than spending in the same period last year (2.5 trillion rubles were spent then). These expenses amount to almost 8% of the annual plan, set at 41.47 trillion rubles, Vedomosti writes.

Information on federal budget revenues is not complete yet. Traditionally, spending accelerates by the end of the year: in December 2024, spending reached a record high, reaching 7.16 trillion rubles, which is 30.2% more than in December 2023.

In general, the execution of the federal budget for 2025 is proceeding according to plan, a representative of the Ministry of Finance said.
