The head of the DPR Boxing Federation, Sargsyan, died in hospital after an assassination attempt in Moscow.

The assassination attempt on Sargsyan took place on Monday morning in the residential complex "Scarlet Sails" on Aviatsionnaya Street. There, an improvised explosive device detonated in the elevator lobby. 

As a result of the emergency, according to preliminary data, five people were injured, the lobby itself was destroyed, but the load-bearing walls were not damaged, the special services ruled out the possibility of a building collapse.
