Rapan and shrimp catches increased by 20% in the Sea of Azov

In 2024, the volume of rapan and shrimp catches in the Sea of Azov increased by 20% year on year. This is reported by TASS with reference to Rosrybolovstvo data.

Exact figures on the catch of rapan shellfish and Black Sea shrimp are not given. The increase in catch was explained by the expansion of their fishing area in the Northern Azov region.
