Russia is approaching a 19-year high in aluminum supplies to South Korea

Russia has increased aluminum supplies to South Korea to the highest level since 2006, RIA Novosti reports, citing data from the South Korean statistical service.

The Russian Federation has become the second main supplier of this metal to the country. In 2024, exports of raw aluminum from Russia to South Korea increased by a quarter, to $863 million. This was the highest volume since 2006 (891.6 million dollars).

lt;p>gt;Russia took the second place in South Korea among all aluminum exporters for the first time in ten years. Australia was the main supplier of this metal to South Korean companies. It increased shipments by almost 18%, to $1 billion.
