Russia has increased production of civilian drones 2.5 times in a year

By the end of 2024, 16.4 thousand civilian drones were produced in Russia. This is reported by TASS with reference to data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"p>gt; In comparison with the indicator of 2023, the total volume of production of this type of equipment increased 2.5 times.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that there are a number of support tools for drone manufacturers at all stages of project implementation: grants of up to 100 million rubles for reverse engineering, subsidies from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to compensate for the costs of drone certification, preferential loan financing programs from the Industrial Development Fund for organizing or expanding serial production of UAS and components.

The agency also reports on newly developed subsidies for Russian UAS manufacturers. In particular: compensation for lost income when providing discounts to the end customer and a subsidy for compensation of up to 50% of the cost of a flight hour.
