By the end of 2024, primary oil refining in the Russian Federation amounted to 266.5 million tons. Such data was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak in an article in the Energy Policy magazine.
In comparison with 2023, Russian refineries reduced oil refining by 3.1%, at that time this figure was at the level of 275 million tons. At the same time, according to Novak, the refining depth increased from 84.1% to 84.4% over the year.
Production of gasoline also decreased to 41.1 million tons (-6.4%) and diesel fuel to 81.6 million tons (-7.4%).
