In the Russian car market, there is a problem of excessive stocks of cars from dealers and suppliers. At the end of last year, there were enough stocks for 4-6 months of sales. The main brands were unable to stop deliveries quickly, according to Autostat.

Many brands are adjusting volumes for the current year due to poor forecasts. A restrained production load is expected in the second half of 2025.

- Chinese manufacturers have not been able to adapt to market changes. Dealers cannot stimulate sales and maintain large warehouses due to the high cost of financing, so it is necessary to change the relationship between distributors and dealers in order to maintain market share," Andrey Terlyukevich, CEO of Avtospeccenter Group of Companies, quotes Autostat.
