Starting from January 1, 2025, veterans, as well as members of the special operation, who were discharged into the reserve and decided to engage in agribusiness, can receive an Agromotivator grant.The Government of the Russian Federation has updated the rules for providing state support to agribusiness.
The grant amount for cattle breeding for the production of meat and dairy products will be up to 7 million rubles, and for agribusiness in other areas up to 5 million rubles.
The selection of grantees will be handled by regional commissions that will evaluate the submitted projects.
In addition, agribusiness enterprises will now be compensated for part of the costs under contracts for targeted training in agricultural fields at universities and part of the costs of paying for labor and accommodation for students of agricultural universities and students of agricultural fields of non-agricultural universities.
The new rules for providing state support to farmers also involve the introduction of a number of incentive payments. Thus, payments in the amount of 40 thousand rubles per month are intended for university specialists and scientific organizations involved in the implementation of projects aimed at advanced technological modernization and innovative development of the agro-industrial complex. The amount of incentive payments for teachers who teach specialized subjects in agrotechnological classes in rural schools will amount to 30 thousand rubles per month.
In addition, agricultural enterprises and individual entrepreneurs will be able to repay part of the funds they spent on the construction or purchase of housing for teachers of agricultural universities. It will be provided to teachers in the following areas:the contract of employment. This rule will apply to universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rosrybolovstvo and Rosselkhoznadzor. At the same time, teachers who rent such housing will be able to buy it into ownership after five years of work at an agricultural university at a price not exceeding 20% of the estimated cost, and after 10 years of workfor 1% of the estimated cost.
Overall, the amount of cost recovery from the federal budget will range from 30% to 95%. In total, over 6.5 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes.
