The Government of the Russian Federation has approved GOST on popular science tourism

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved GOST on popular science tourism.The document will enter into force on April 1, 2025. The standard was developed by the Ministry of Education and Science in cooperation with the Russian State University of Tourism and Service.

The All-Russian Register of Popular Science Tourism Facilities includes more than 1,100 facilities, including those located at universities and scientific institutes.

Last year, the popular science excursion flow amounted to over 2 million people, including schoolchildren and students.
