The United States has tripled imports of Chinese petroleum products

The United States of America has increased imports of petroleum products from China by almost three times, RIA &News» informs.
In ten months from the beginning of 2024, the United States bought $323 million worth of petroleum products from China. This figure is 2.6 times higher than the same period last year. The volume of purchased petroleum products has become the highest in six years, but lags behind the record in 2018 by $ 75.6 million.
In October, there was a significant decrease in the volume of purchased petroleum products. The total value of the contracts decreased by 193 times to $144.2 thousand.
In American imports for 10 months of 2024, China ranks 29th. The leaders of oil trading are Canada, South Korea, the Netherlands and Mexico. They supplied oil products worth 10.6, 3.8, 3.6 and 3.5 billion dollars to the United States, respectively.
