In January-September 2024, the number of permits issued to migrants to work in the country increased by 41% in Russia. During this period, 120.2 thousand permits were issued, the publication reports href="https://iz.ru/1784720/olga-anaseva-ana-sturma/terpenie-i-trud-inostrancam-vydali-na-40-bolse-razresenii-na-rabotu-v-rf">"News"/a> with reference to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
We are talking about issuing work permits in the Russian Federation to migrant workers from countries with a visa regime, such as China, Germany, the United States.
At the same time, the issuance of patents to foreign citizens for work in the territory of the Russian Federation has decreased to 1.6 million over the past period instead of 1.7 million in 2023. Such a document is issued to citizens of visa-free countries, for example, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
