The founder of Evolution Management and the author of unique solutions for automating business processes and financial control told how enterprises systematize management, increase efficiency and build an organizational structure.

The competition «National Business Award 2024» in the field of technology and innovation, which has become one of the key events of the year for the business community, has ended in Moscow. Leading experts and companies working in the field of technology and automation gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements and share their experience in solving urgent problems of modern business. This year, the winner in the nomination «Leader of the Year in Business Analytics » was Evgeny Frolov — founder of Evolution Management, who developed a unique product for automating business processes AdminBoard and a consulting program «System», which It allows companies to systematize management and significantly increase profits. In an interview, the expert spoke about the importance of business automation in the modern market, shared a strategy that will help start this process, and explained why it is important to establish remote business management.

— Eugene, you have implemented more than 400 projects on deep systematization and automation of business management. How important is automation today? Can companies do without this step?

— It is almost impossible for a business to do without automation in modern conditions. Manual process management leads to overloading, slowdowns, and errors. When an entrepreneur gets stuck in the operating system, doing everyday routine tasks, it limits his ability to develop a strategy and scale his business. Automation frees up time and focuses on growth by delegating control of operational processes to the team and specialized tools, which not only increases profits, but also accelerates the development of the company.

— Where do you think companies should start the automation process in order to achieve maximum results?

— Companies that want to grow and develop multiple times should start the automation process by analyzing current problems and points of "slippage". It is important not just to implement a system for the sake of the system, but to understand what specific problems it should solve and what kind of profit increase it will give, for this you need to build an automation strategy that should take into account the available resources — financial, expert, as well as current barriers. Success depends on how effectively the company can reallocate resources and implement automation in those processes that will give the maximum effect without overloading the system with unnecessary improvements.

— You have created the AdminBoard software product that helps business owners remotely control processes, it already employs over a thousand users. What role does the possibility of remote management play in modern business, what advantages does it give to entrepreneurs in comparison with a traditional office?

— Until 2020, I was an ardent supporter of the offline format of work. We rented an entire floor in the business center of 1300 square meters, conducted live trainings for managers, and up to a hundred clients were simultaneously in our office for training. Live communication and direct contact were important to me. However, the pandemic has radically changed my point of view. We were forced to switch to a remote work format, and then I realized how many advantages this format provides. Firstly, we have significantly reduced the cost of rent, office maintenance, printing materials and other related costs — savings amounted to 3–4 million rubles. Secondly, remote management has allowed us to attract talented specialists from different regions and even countries. The younger generation, who grew up in the digital age, perceives remote work as the norm.

— What nuances are important to consider for those who plan to switch to remote control?

— Successful remote management requires a high degree of systematization and effective management. It is necessary to clearly build communications, hold regular meetings, fix tasks and monitor their execution. Without this, remote work can lead to chaos and inefficiency.

— To help companies organize management, you have created a consulting product &System». The result, as practice shows, is an average profit growth of 2 times. What is the importance of creating an organizational structure and job descriptions in the process of systematization?

— The organizational structure plays a key role in the systematization of the company, as it sets the foundation for effective management and growth. You need to start by defining all the necessary functions and distributing them among employees. This helps to create a unified picture for everyone, improve communication and eliminate problems of interaction between departments. The organizational structure simplifies the delegation process, helps to identify the needs for new staff and contributes to improving overall efficiency. When employees understand their roles and work together, this directly affects the successful development of the business and profit growth.

— Eugene, you also help companies systematize and automate business at your seminars and webinars, which have already been attended by more than 15 thousand entrepreneurs. What is the main advice you give to managers who are just starting the process?

— My main advice for managers — is to focus not only on the work process, but also on your development as a manager. When you face difficulties — cash gaps or employee mistakes — it is important not just to work more, but to look at the situation from a different perspective. To manage effectively, you need to constantly learn and improve. The environment also plays a big role: communicating with successful people energizes, gives you new ideas and helps you find solutions where there were only problems before. In this state, you begin to see deeper opportunities for systematization and business management, which allows you to think strategically and lead the company to growth.
