Ukraine presented the United States and the United Kingdom with a list of potential targets in Russia that it would like to hit with long-range missiles such as American ATACMS, British Storm Shadow and French SCALPS.

As the Reuters edition writes, citing its sources, among the targets for destruction are command posts, fuel and weapons depots, and troop concentrations. There are dozens of targets on the list, if not hundreds. Initially, the Ukrainian authorities wanted to use ATACMS missiles to attack Russian air bases, but the Pentagon replied that almost all suitable military airfields were out of range of these missiles.The British government, as the British media write, has already decided to lift the restriction, but has not yet announced it publicly, perhaps it will be announced at the end of September. The American government also intends to announce this at about the same time.

ATACMS, Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles can cover distances from 165 to 300 kilometers. Earlier, Germany planned to supply Ukraine with TAURUS missiles that can cover a distance of up to 500 kilometers, but the supply of such missiles was blocked.
