Regular elections will be held in Russia from September 6 to 8. Polling stations opened on September 6 in 13 regions where voting takes place in two days. Governors will be elected in 21 regions of the country, and elections of deputies to local governments will be held in 11 Russian regions. Currently, voting is already underway in 62 regions out of 83.

In total, about four thousand election campaigns will end this weekend, during which 35,000 deputies and officials will be elected

According to the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova, cyber attacks on the portals of the Central Election Commission and the sites of precinct election commissions have sharply increased in recent days. In particular, according to Pamfilova, since September 5, about 100 thousand attacks on the CEC Internet portals have been reflected, of which 232 are of the highest level,

In addition, since the beginning of voting, more than 4.6 thousand attacks on DEG resources where electronic voting is taking place have been blocked. More than half of the attacks come from abroad. A significant percentage of attacks were recorded from the territory of Ukraine.
