US representatives threatened Turkish financial institutions with sanctions if they continued servicing transactions with the Russian Federation. A source in the Turkish financial consulting market told TASS about this.

- A delegation from the USA came. Their representatives threatened the banks of our country with so-called veiled or hidden sanctions for continuing relations with the Russian side, the agency quotes the source as saying.

He stressed that it is still available for Russia to conduct transactions through Turkish banks, while they must meet a number of conditions.The participants of the transaction must provide documents confirming that it does not violate the applicable sanctions and restrictions.
