Experts from Kaspersky Lab have discovered an unknown Trojan-type virus in the smartphones of Russian residents, which can monitor them, collect information and send it to unknown persons.

The main victims of the new virus that LianSpy received were the owners of an android device in Russia. Moreover, the Trojan began to spread in smartphones back in 2021, it is very difficult to detect it with software, since the worm masks its actions. They were able to detect a new virus in the spring of this year, it was found out that the Trojan had infected 10 devices. Who else has become victims of the new cyber espionage program, how many other devices it has managed to hit over the past three years is unknown.

Recently, such Trojans, which simply monitor the actions of computer and cell phone owners, collect information and transfer it to third parties without interfering with the operation of the devices themselves, are becoming more and more. Previously, viruses were common, which for the most part corrupted the software and interfered with the work of users.
