In the Ivanovo region, residents report empty shelves in grocery stores &Pyaterochka» (owned by X5 Group). The picture is similar in Vladimir and a number of other regions of the Central Federal District. Our colleagues - correspondents of the publications "Ivanovo News" and "Vladimir News" were convinced of this. The editorial office has a lot of photos and comments from concerned customers. Everyone has the only question — total shortage in a particular retail chain for a long time? BJ understood the situation.

In at the point of sale &Pyaterochka» near the railway station, there are no drinks and sweets on the shelves.

And below Vladimir. A big gap on the shelves was formed due to the fact that there is not always someone to put on the shelves (goods)», - the sellers reported. Bread, cereals, flour, spices and water are especially lacking.

However, the problem is deeper and somewhat further away from specific stores with half-empty counters. X5 Group reported that the absence of a number of product names is due to a shortage of labor in the distribution center. This was confirmed by the source «Ivanovo News»/a>.

«There are not enough workers in the distribution center in Yaroslavl right now. All migrants were fired and sent home because they worked illegally. There are not enough workers. Even in all nearby cities, for example, in Kostroma, Kovrov, Yaroslavl, employees come to "Pyaterochka" and collect goods on pallets themselves so that someone has them. Yesterday the goods were delivered, but during the week sugar, cereals and water will not be transported, but supplies with vegetables, meat and fruits will be stable. This is not a one-time promotion. According to our calculations, this should be over by the end of August, maybe even earlier. The most important reason is that there are no workers," the publication quotes an employee of the retail chain.

RBC on Tuesday issued a statement X5, which explains: seasonal labor shortage in the Yaroslavl region is associated with &external market factors». The departure of migrant workers to their homeland is indeed called such factors. According to the Mash channel, due to recent deportations, there are not enough 1,000 workers in the Yaroslavl distribution center.

But the trade network is not the only one experiencing a shortage of migrants. Correspondents of the Ivanovo News found out that at least 173 vacancies are currently open in the company - from an administrator and a sales cashier to a courier. And this is only in the Ivanovo region.
